A delightful 1950's children's book found in Babbo's Bookstore. It was about an hour after I'd had my first-ever root canal, and the Vicodin was just taking hold of me. I happily purchased the book after flipping through the first pages, wondering if the book would remain amazing when the meds wore off.
I assure you, it is still warm and wonderful! The author's illustrations are timeless (haha, in a book about time) and the tone is imaginative and earnest. After reading Harry Behn's Wikipedia page of adventure and accomplishment, I am convinced that he deserves more of my attention.
The photos are my own.
